On this platform you'll find the charred guard displayed in an earlier cinematic sequence, and on his corpse is the second security card. Move to the end of this platform and you'll find a plant-covered pipe-climb the pipe to the next level and you'll be treated to yet more silly plot details. Return to where she said she couldn't jump and make the jump. In fact, making the jump increases Lara's leg strength and she can now make the jump between the broken platforms. As you continue along the platform Lara will notice a large jump that she can't yet make-let's fix that.Īt the far end of this catwalk you'll reach a long jump, one which Lara can make. Use the hop to make the first two jumps perfectly, then for the final jump get a running start and grab the edge of the platform above. Climb a ladder at ground level to reach the first level of platforms.įrom here you'll need to frog-hop across a few platforms along a steeply slanted rooftop. The first is found on a guard on the ground level-kill him and grab the card he drops. There are three security cards to be found in this room. It may be the last, but it's definitely not the smallest. Through the doors you'll enter the last area of the Bio-Research Facility. Follow this by pulling the lever next to the valves and the plant should concede. Turn on the two valves furthest left, and the second one from the right. On the same wall are diagrams showing what happens when you turn certain valves on and off. In the back of this room is a set of five valves. Climb the pipe, climb another wall, and you'll meet a set of doors-go through them and see a giant root impede your path by blocking the door.
From one platform you can sidle along the wall to reach a pipe. Move towards the water again, but stay above water level. Walk across a narrow plank and hit a switch to move an electrical platform into position. Climb the growth on the walls upwards until you reach the topmost area. Jump back to the main platforms and go towards the back wall. Take out the guard and move to the lowest platform, at water level.įrom this platform you'll need to jump Lara to a blue pipe and turn a valve, stopping the steam above which you'll encounter soon enough. Through a door you'll reach an open area with water beneath and one guard on patrol. Before going down the steep decline, line yourself up with the ladder on the other side of the gap-you want to slide and jump across to catch the ladder (otherwise you'll be swimming with something you'd rather not). Get out of the water and you'll reach an area where Lara will slide. A small hatch inside one of the broken incubators will open-drop down inside. Climb to the catwalks above the incubators and turn the two valves up there. Once the creatures are dispatched, take a stair case on the left side of the room to an upper level, in the center of which is a pipe (along the ceiling) that Lara can monkey-climb. Inside the incubation room you'll encounter a slew of strange creatures-perhaps a preview of what's to come with the Sleeper. Flip the switch to open the door on the opposite side of the greenhouse and continue through to an incubation room. Inside is a small room, a ladder, and a small switch. Once he's sprayed his green stuff in your face and taken off, pull one of the fountain heads (the one not spouting water) to open a door right of the door through which you came in. Move to the center of the greenhouse and speak with the cocky cultist.
